Experience the magic of the Nordic winter under the northern lights. Snowshoe through quiet forests, ride snowmobiles across frozen lakes, or meet huskies in the snow.
Discover Arctic Adventures in Nature
Our activities are designed for small groups, offering a warm and personal experience. Our local guides are passionate about Lapland’s nature, and sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.
All safaris include warm winter clothing: insulated overalls, boots, gloves, and a hat.
Need extra gear? Rent a full set for just 15 € / day or 90 € / week.
Book 3 or more activities, and your winter gear is free for your entire stay.
You can also borrow forest skis, cross country skis, snowshoes, and sleds at no extra cost. All those ready to use straight from our yard.
Snowmobiling
Available: Dec 18 – Apr 30
Explore beyond flat trails. Ride through fells, forests, and across frozen lakes with breathtaking views. Routes are adjusted to your experience level.
We dare to promise that you won't find many snowmobile safaris in Finland with the same landscapes.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Includes: guide, snowmobile rental, permits, insurance
deductible: max 1500 € per snowmobile in case of accident
Basics of Snowmobiling
On this safari you will discover the world of snowmobiling for beginners. You will learn the basics of snowmobiling in the most beautiful winter forest.

HUSKY SAFARI

Eläydy aitoon valjakkoajon tunnelmaan ja hurauta läpi lumen peittämien maisemien huskylauman johdattamana! Ennen matkaan lähtöä saat huolelliset ajonopetukset, jotta voit nauttia matkasta turvallisesti. Retken aikana pysähdytään tutustumaan innokkaisiin huskyihin, ottamaan unohtumattomia kuvia ja nauttimaan kuumista juomista. Pakettiin sisältyvät myös lämpimät talvivarusteet sekä kuljetukset.

Reindeer Experiences
Our holiday village also has a beautiful reindeer farm owned by a Skolt Sámi reindeer herder called “Emma’s Reindeer”.
You are warmly welcome to meet our furry friends and learn about reindeer and Sámi culture.
Reindeer Sleigh Ride
Available: Dec 1 – Apr 15
Go on a traditional sleigh ride, just like in the old days in Sámi land. Sit comfortably in the sleigh, relax and enjoy the winter riverside scenery. At the end of the memorable sleigh ride, you will have the opportunity to feed the reindeer their delicacy, lichen, and take pictures of these friendly antlers.

Reindeer Day
Available: Dec 1 – Apr 15
Join reindeer herder Emma to her cozy reindeer park. Go on a traditional sleigh ride, just like in the old days in Sámi land. You then learn to throw suopunki the reindeer herders lasso, used to catch reindeer. We make an open fire where you get some warm juice and a chance to taste tradiotional dried reindeer meat. You learn about Sámi handicrafts and the life cycle of reindeer with your Sámi guide.

Enjoy the silence of the Arctic wilderness on snowshoes or skis. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced hiker, we have a trail for you.
All-Day Snowshoe Hike to the Fells
Available: Nov 1 – Apr 30
Climb Ailigas Fell for panoramic views across Norway and the surrounding wilderness. Includes snowshoes, snacks, and hot drinks. Moderate fitness level required
If you wish, we can also visit the reindeer corral located at the foot of Mount Ailigas.
The excursion lasts the whole day and includes equipment rental, packed snacks, and hot drinks.

Guided snowshoe hike

On this trip we head for a shorter snowshoe hike into a snowy forest. Using snowshoes we can walk in pristine snow and explore the magnificent nature as close as possible. Hiking is a relaxed and great way to get to know snowshoes.

Fisherman's Day in the Wilderness
Available: Feb 1 – Apr 30
Join our expert guides for a full day fishing adventure in their secret spots. This experience is perfect for seasoned anglers and first-timers alike – just bring patience and plenty of “sisu”! Travel by snowmobile sleigh deep into the wilderness to discover the most remote and pristine fishing grounds. While you wait for the big catch, our guide will prepare a delicious lunch by the fire. All equipment, clothing and permits are included along with lunch and the change to reel in the fish of a lifetime!

Husky Safari

Listen carefully to the driving instructions and be a real musher for once in your life! We’ll ready the sledges and start for a memorable husky ride through the wintry landscapes.
